Description
Fine art from Europe and America forms the core of the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art's permanent collection, ranging from late medieval works to contemporary pieces. Look for a well-rounded showing of pieces by late great Italian masters, the Hudson River School and 20th-century notables like Cindy Sherman, Robert Rauschenberg and Duane Hanson.
