Description

The Knights of Columbus Museum i n New Haven is dedicated to exploring the history of this fraternal Catholic organization of the same name, founded by an Irish-American Catholic priest in this city in 1882. Artifacts, photographs, artwork and documents help round out visual exhibits that take the visitor back in time to tell the story of the papacy, Christopher Columbus and the efforts of contemporary Knights of Columbus in the name of charity and service. There is an archive available for scholarly research and regularly changing exhibits that range in theme but often include fine art, from etchings to mosaics. Check the calendar for information.
